The evening celebrates the passage of the bill granting the highest civilian award given by Congress: the Congressional Gold Medal for Filipino veterans who fought in World War II. Evening also toasts veteran Celestino Almeda who turns 100, and Dakila Awardees who represent the best and brightest in our community.
